Our main research interest is to determine the spatial arrangement and temporal activity of the genetic material in the cell nucleus and to understand how these impact gene regulation and hence, cell differentiation.

Work in the laboratory is divided into the following three projects:

We are using Caenorhabditis elegans embryos and mouse embryonic stem cells as experimental models. Analysis is performed using cell and molecular biology techniques as well as state-of-the-art fluorescence microscopy.
